The extension fetches the link's title, publisher-provided description, and cover image using HTML tags from the linked page. Additionally, if you set up an API key in the options menu, it can send a portion of the page content to an OpenAI endpoint for further summarization. However, it's essential to note that using the AI endpoint incurs costs, so caution is advised. LinkLooker works best with direct page links and may face compatibility issues with certain sites, particularly social media platforms.
